I think shades of pinks make hands have more of an elegant touch to them, but hah i'm also a teen girl and when i get my nails done i like to be bold and use bright colors, people usually end up loving them. otherwise play it safe and do french (:What color should i paint my nails?
Neon pink! Delia's has a great shade, but you should put a clear top coat on over it, because it's not very shiny.


Or orange-- I used this color by NYC called Times Square Tangerine Creme and it's subtle, but when people see it, they ask to borrow it haha.

Teal is definatley in the season!
Do any color and then put a coat of clear with silver glitter in it! It looks so beautiful! Coral is the best to have the glitter coat on top. It looks so summery and youthful!
A light purple would look really cool. esp. for springtime!
