I'd choose hot pink, or white, or shimmery gold or silver.
Definitely a deep pink (almost red) that sparkles for the toes, I recently had that done and it looked fantastic with my tan. For the fingers don't go light pink, it looks too barbie doll against a darker tan. Subtle, almost skin coloured browns and pinks are great, or go for a french manicure. Another idea for finger nails: a pearly pink. Unlike non-sparkly light pinks it really enhances a tan, my friend (Italien and deeply tanned) recently got that colour and it looks amazing!

white, light pink, mainly pastels. i still like red best though.
Light colors make your skin appear darker. I'd suggest a metallic white, or a light pink, do two coats though, so it doesn't go on clear.
