I think it depends on the way you want to present yourself. Red is classy and sophisticaed. Pink is flirty and fun.

but remember if you decide to go with red, paint clear nailpolish on your fingers before painting them red, or your nails will have a gross yellow-ish tint to them when you decide to take it off.
