Can you get a solid color with gel nails?

Can I get gel nails all one color?? im thinking of hot pink or black.. also do they damage less then acrylic??Can you get a solid color with gel nails?
Yes you can do it. I just now found this website gel-nails.com that shows some of the colors. I'm sure each salon has different colors.

The basic situation is this ... the colored gel is exactly what it says. The nail gel is colored and stays that way ... from what i've seen, some salons use the color gel after putting down a basecoat of nearly clear gel so they could more easily change the color for you if you decided later-on that's what u wanted.

The important part about gel nails is the stuff ought to be put down in layers and not all at once because of the way it shrinks when it cures. You see, if there's too much shrinkage of a single layer then you'd feel it. So, the thing to do is work with an experienced nail tech ... somebody who knows their product.

And for the difference between acrylic and gel ... it's actually two different pathways to get very nearly the same coating applied on your nails. The acrylic MAY be a bit more hard and strong, and the gel MAY be a bit more pliable ... but it depends a lot on how much your nail tech applies and etc. (Get a good nail tech.)

Your nails will look will look spectacular when you're done. I honestly love how VERY smooth and beautiful they look. And when your nails are properly done by a decent nail tech, they don't ever peel and they're loads stronger than natural nails.

good luck ... hope you find a color u like !Can you get a solid color with gel nails?
Yes you can... Gel nails cost more and aren't really much more sturdy than acrylic nails
Yeah. I heard they are supposed to be healthier for your nails but they both seem the same to me.
Yes, and acrylic is the best way to go.
