It really depends on your skin tone as well. If you are fair, most of the colors will look good. If your skin tone is dark, try lighter shades like light brown and others.

I also like plum coloured nail polish, esp in the winter.

if you have a dark skin complexion go with hot pink or burgundy and if you're very pale go with red.
Make a unique french manicure.
